Tapide survol d'une petite collection sans durée mais non sans postérité puisque certains d ses titres sont tours édités. Elle a paru chez Pierre Horay juste au sortir de la guerre et remplaçait une collection du même titre par fascicules.
Le Sphinx eut quelques bonheurs en publiant Helen McCloy ou Jacques Decrest, lequel avait un certain talent pour s'équiper de titres efficaces.<br />
